MDO's new project, Idyll Moment Farm situated in Chengdu, a city known for leisure and idleness, surrounded by pastoral landscapes of fertile fields and dense forests. We take design inspiration from nature - the space is constitutive of landscape and the natural, soft and simple building materials are chosen to encourage visitors to return to the rustic and poetic life. The wide-open view harmoniously connects the world inside and outside and extends the whole space to the terrace.

비옥한 들판과 울창한 숲의 목가적인 풍경. 여유를 만끽하기 좋은 도시 청두에 위치한 MDO의 새로운 프로젝트는 아름다운 자연에서 디자인적 영감을 얻었다. Idyll Moment Farm은 시골에서 누리는 시적인 삶을 장려하기 위해 부드럽고 단순한 건축 재료를 사용했다. 층마다 뷰를 달리하는 탁 트인 전망은 안팎의 세계를 조화롭게 연결하고 전체 공간에 확장감을 부여한다. 중국 전통의 건축 요소에서 비롯한 박공 모양의 내부 지붕은 나무 알갱이의 단순함과 연속성이 깃들어 자연과 은신처의 경계를 더욱 모호하게 만든다.

MDO focus on light and space, hoping visitors can soak up the casual touch of holidaying every day. Designers borrow the idea from local artifacts and materials of the old dwellings in western Sichuan and creatively incorporated them into modern design. The space is decorated with window openings, conical hats, natural wood, and bambooplaited articles as a way to relate to residential houses and local crafts in western Sichuan. Touching the texture of local tradition and nature with materials.

MDO는 방문객이 휴가의 캐주얼한 느낌을 흡수하길 바라며 빛과 공간에 초점을 맞췄다. 디자이너들은 쓰촨성 서부에 있는 오래된 주거지의 공예품과 재료에서 아이디어를 차용해 현대 디자인과 효과적으로 통합했다. 거칠게 깎은 도구, 말린 나뭇가지, 등나무를 엮어 만든 요소는 고풍스러움 더하고 공간을 매끄럽게 연결한다. 곡선형 모서리와 수직 이음 지붕, 등간격의 단층 박공은 전원적인 매력을 선사하며, 일상적인 소박함과 즐거움이 가득한 순수한 공간 속을 거닐게 만든다.

On the ever-lasting planet, locals plant different crops as seasons change; at harvest, they pick fresh plants, and at pastime, they dawdle over teas. MDO blends its perception of the environment, its studies on materials, its trials in localization, and its aesthetics of space into the pleasant nature, in an attempt to replenish pure energy for visitors and encourage them to find a way to connect to the part of who they are here. That leaves something to the imagination for nature and countryside life.

Greentown's Idyll Moment Farm의 1층 공간과 3층의 조용한 B&B 사이에는 완충지대가 조성되어 프라이빗한 환경을 만든다. 2층은 환경 변화에 맞춰 완전히 정렬된 공간으로 설계되어 문화, 교육, 연구에 몰입할 수 있는 고요한 분위기를 만든다. 방문자에게 순수한 에너지를 전하는 독특한 환경은 그들이 이곳과 연결되는 방법을 찾도록 격려하며, 자연과 시골 생활에 대한 상상에 무언가를 남긴다.
